    Thanks for your comments. It is risky for anyone to be standing in an intersection. The fact that you noticed it means that the video sent the intended message its dangerous! As Xander illustrates in the video, pedestrians and bicyclists are vulnerable, and 70% of bike/vehicle collisions happen in driveways or intersection. Youre also correct that the video producer (NHTSA) had control of the intersection, so Xander was not in any danger during the shoot. Rhonda Markos, AAA

    it says “bike safe bike smart” 7 times! lol!

    And one thing. The video is about safety, and Xander is standing in the middle of a 4-way intersection. NOT EXACTLY SAFE! But you probably closed off the area for the video. but still. It made me think.
